Roof Insulation Does Save Money

When a person or family is designing the construction of a new home, roof insulation should be on the list of items needed. No matter the type of roof installed on the top of the home, the proper amount of roof insulation is one of the most important needs of an economical home.

The roof is generally constructed of a certain amount of evenly spaced wooden two by fours commonly referred to as joists and rafters. Rafters lie parallel and have the same amount of space between. Joists lie intersecting to the rafters, and are used to secure the weight of the rest of roof, which rests on the outer frame of the home construction. Roll in roof insulation is designed to fit in between each and every rafter.

When blown insulation is used for roof insulation, there is not a lot of storage area left in the attic. This type of insulation is blown out of a machine, and fills the entire area of the attic or crawl space located directly above the ceiling of the home. Resolved Question: How far can you get wifi to go outdoors with out spending alot of money?
I want to know if I can get wifi to go approximately .5mi with out spending alot of money.
I have a TRENDnet wireless router with 3 antennas. I don’t remember what model it is, but I bought it about a year ago and at the time it had the fastest speed at the greatest distance with N band.
I know the antennas on the router do not come off.
My mother has been using the router because I didn’t need it and I am debating whether I should ask for it back or buy a new router.

I am currently using an all in one modem/router from verizon, but will be switching to comcast because my girlfriend is an employee and gets the internet for free.
I know I get better signal outback in my garage with the verizon equipment than I got with the TRENDnet router, but the signal was still usable.
I have a Dell inspiron 1525 with an internal n band network card.
My yard is 100′x150′ with the house located in the front right corner and the garage in the back left corner. I definitely want good strong signal everywhere on my property. There is a park 2 blocks from my house. When I map out the route to the bar on the other side of the park it shows about .75mi so I guess in a straight line the park would not be any more than .5mi. I have been researching some things online and keep coming across outdoor wireless AP which I don’t really understand and most are a/b/g bands. I found a review for one that said it was 400mW and it said it could reach more than a few thousand feet but I couldn’t find that model for sale to get a price reference. Most of the ones I find online are 600mW and they are some sort of box that mounts outside and you have to buy antennas for it and I am not sure how it gets it’s power or signal. I think it gets everything from an ethernet cable?

I want to know what should I use to accomplish what I want, and is there a simple device that already has the antennas that I can just hook up on my roof with a hardwired ethernet cable from my router into the box I buy for my roof.
What will I need, and about how much will it cost? Should I just buy a new router that will get around my property better? It would be cool to compute in the park down by the river, but it may be out of my price range.

Triangle Formations (Part II)

What is the crowd psychology behind a descending triangle? Every time the currency price goes down to a certain level that forms the support there are buyers who want to hold that level stubbornly for their own reasons. Buyers thus push the price up each time the support level is tested. Spotting a descending triangle in a downtrend signals the downside breakout of the support level.

Sellers are quite anxious to sell as they feel that the currency price should fall over time. Thus when the price bounces off the support level, the bears take the opportunity to short again.

If it is a down trend, spotting a descending triangle should allow you to be prepared for a downside breakout from the support level. Bulls and bears face a skirmish with both camps not feeling confident of the next market move as with an ascending triangle. This is the transition period from low volatility to high volatility.

When the support level is broken, many of those long positions which have been placed above that level soon get stopped out. Prices tend to break in the middle or the final third part of the triangle formation.

Unless you have reversal signals in the form of technicals or turn around of the market sentiment, you should always assume the continuation of the prevailing trend. It tends to give off even more bearish vibes than if it is formed during an uptrend if the descending triangle is formed during an existing downtrend.

If the descending triangle appears in the midst of a downtrend, the triangle serves as a continuation pattern. A descending triangle should not be considered to be the final word on impending downside breakout. However, with that said prices also sometimes breakout from above the descending triangle successfully in a burst of bullish momentum.

Symmetrical Triangles: There are no horizontal lines in symmetrical triangles. This differentiates it from the ascending and the descending triangles. A symmetrical triangle consists of two converging trendlines that join a series of lower highs and higher lows. A symmetrical triangle has some resemblance to a wedge pattern.

The higher lows are formed when buyers of the currency pair are willing to pay a bit more to get a piece of action. As they are willing to accept less and less of the price over time, the lower highs reflect the mildly bearish conviction of the sellers.

There is no way to predict the future breakout direction until one of the symmetrical triangle lines is penetrated. A symmetrical triangle tends to be less reliable as compared to an ascending or descending triangle. Breakouts usually occur in the middle or the final third of the triangle as with the other sloping triangles.

Decreased volatility can also be detected with the exponential moving averages and the Bollinger bands besides the triangle formation. You should always consider other pieces of information so that you can better pinpoint a higher probability trade set up when trading triangle breakouts.

The economic recession is now several years old. Unemployment is widespread. Millions of homes across the US, homes are in foreclosure. Real estate sales are slow or stagnant. Yet all those homes are not exactly vacant. They have some uninvited guests – termites!

The risk of a termite infestation rises when a home is vacant and neglected for several years. Most foreclosed homes have not had an annual termite inspection in years. If the homes also have any type of water leak, either from plumbing or from the roof, the risk of termites is greatly increased.

Banks selling foreclosed homes have typically never seen those homes. They have no knowledge of the condition of the home or of any problems that might exist. No property disclosure report is given to buyers and the homes are sold in “as-is” condition. The buyer does have the right of inspection, however. Savvy buyers will obtain both a termite inspection and a complete home inspection by reputable professionals.

If a professional termite inspector finds evidence of termite problems, do not count on the bank to make repairs. They will not, and the issue is not even negotiable. It is time to get estimates on the cost of termite treatment and damage repair. All that can be done is to deduct the costs from the value of the house if an offer is made.

What is the bottom line? That foreclosed properties have probably been neglected. In some cases they have been neglected for years. The more neglect the higher the risk of termite infestation. Do not commit to purchasing such a property unless it has been inspected by a professional termite inspector. The cost of such an inspection is minimal. Without a termite inspection, the risk of future damage is quite high.
